It pains me to admit this, but Blogging Tory, Celestial Junk is is making some good points regarding the current climate change debacle in Copenhagen.
As I look back on my efforts to support the Liberal cause in Canada, it now has become apparent I have been mistaken. Michael Ignatieff, clearly, has no plan, and, worse, the Liberal philosophy has done nothing but encourage personal irresponsibility among Canadians.
I am in the process of changing my website to "Big City Con", and would strongly urge other Liberals to reconsider their support of a failed and dying party.

I understand your feelings, but do you think the Conservatives have a plan... especially on the environment? Being non-liberal doesn't mean being a Con!

ReplyDeleteThanks - conservatives do need messages from thoughtful bloggers, as activists and the MSM tend to drown out alternatives that do work. The CPC is the best government we shall see for some time, so its best to work from within the party, which is supported not just by reformers, but by lots of small "c" folks and former Liberals. The NDP is perfectly capable of articulating socialist ideas if and until the Liberals reinvent themselves.
ReplyDeleteGavin, you bet CPC has a plan, but it is not always smart to lay it out to be spit upon (in Canada) until the US and China have put a few cards down. Look at all of the over-the-top behaviour in Copenhagen - if the right deal is not made for Canada, it will cost the entire country, but will do absolutely nada for the environment.
Looks to me like you were brain washed too. I thought better then that of you but I suppose I was dead wrong.The only dying party will soon be the Reform Harper Cons. They don't deserve to run a pig farm let alone a government.
